Product Information
FilterPak
The FilterPak is the software version of SurfGuardian filtering services. It works with:
- Windows
FilterPak can be easily installed and integrated with any Windows Operating Systems. It acts as "thin client" software, enabling your computer to connect to our database. This database is where the listing of blocked sites is store
d. Through this software, web site requests are routed to our database and checked against the list of blocked sites. If a site is found as blocked, it will never show up on your browser.
- Microsoft Proxy 2.0
A network with a small number of computers running through Microsoft Proxy 2.0 can all be filtered with just one installation. Filtering procedure is the same as the procedure for FilterPak for Windows. Plus, there is the option to
add more Categories for blocking.
Dial Up ISP Service *coming soon*
SurfGuardian Dial up ISP services are available with the FilterPak. The ISP package includes UNLIMITED Internet access, 5 POP email accounts with 10 Megabytes of mail storage space and access numbers nationwide. You'll also have email, phone and live ch
at technical support that's available 24/7.

FilterPak Upgrades
You'll be able to download the latest upgrades made for the FilterPak. Your existing version will automatically be updated. Please click here to get FilterPak upgrades.
Filtering Preferences
You are currently using the latest version of the FilterPak. This version has several new features, one of which allows you to create up to 10 different profiles per account.
A profile simply lets you assign different levels of filtering to different users. You can create, edit and remove profiles at the Filtering Preferences page. You'll need to log-in to get access. NOTE: Only the "Administrator", i.e. the person or th
e identity who directly has a SurfGuardian account, can configure profiles and filtering settings.
To manage profiles and set up filtering preferences:
- Right-click the S4F(FilterPak) icon in the system tray.
- Select "S4F Options"
- Select "User" from the menu
- Click on the "Edit Filter Profiles" button
You will then be taken to the client control panel. Please follow the instructions at that page to complete setting up profiles and filtering options.
Billing Management
You'll be able to manage your account online through the client control panel. You can get account/billing information simply by logging-in and selecting Account Info from the menu. Please click here to

Cancelling your account
If you wish to cancel your SurfGuardian account, please call Customer support. Our Customer Care personnel will handle your account's cancellation. Please click here to find out more.
Uninstalling the FilterPak
VERY IMPORTANT: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MODIFY THE SYSTEM AND/OR DELETE BY SIMPLY REMOVING THE SOFTWARE FROM YOU PROGRAM FILES. UNINSTALL USING ONLY THE PRESCRIBED PROCEDURE.
